Our Story
Akins Advisory Partners came out of our own family's struggles in navigating the complex world of health insurance. We've been on most every type of insurance, from an employer's group plan, marketplace plans and even cost-sharing programs, but we went through the gauntlet trying to get our family insured when the cost-sharing program we were on wasn't going to cover a million dollar NICU stay for our children.
We ultimately succeeded in that, but it wasn't without many stressful days and nights not knowing if we would be bankrupted by the unknown medical expenses.
Akins Advisory Partners is here to walk alongside others as they navigate the health insurance world and guide them to the solution that's the right one for their family or business.
